Paragon's History Paragon is a full-service global relocation management company.
Founded in 1987 as Premier Decision Management, a division of Premier Relocation Services, our core focus was to provide corporate mobility consulting services. In 1991, Premier's parent, The Weyerhaeuser Company, divested itself of various subsidiaries. That May, the senior management team executed a leveraged buyout of Premier and established the division as a stand-alone company, renamed Paragon Decision Resources, Inc.
In September 2003, Paragon Decision Resources, Inc. was changed to Paragon Relocation Resources, Inc. to offer a more focused and committed approach to the relocation industry. We are proud of the relocation management services we provide to our clients. Throughout the past 20 years we have assisted over 150,000 families with relocation services within and across borders.
Our key dates and milestones include:
- 1987 - Company founded as Premier Decision Management, a division of Premier Relocation Services, Inc.
- 1991 - Senior Management of Premier Decision Management executes leveraged buyout and renames the organization Paragon Decision Resources, Inc.
- 2001 - Paragon opens subsidiaries and service centers in London, England and Hong Kong, China to support international relocation and global assignment services. Also, Paragon decentralizes operations in the United States to implement services from Customer Service Centers in California, Illinois and Connecticut.
- 2003 - Company changes name to Paragon Relocation Resources, Inc. in a repositioning effort to increase market awareness of our core business. Paragon Relocation Resources, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Paragon Global Resources, Inc.
- 2005 - Paragon opens the North American Service Center - Southwest Region office in Irving, Texas.
- 2006 - Paragon establishes Paragon Relocation - Switzerland.
- 2007 - Paragon opens an office in Dublin, Ireland to serve as International Headquarters.
- 2007 - Holland Relocation becomes Paragon's first franchisee, forming Paragon Relocation - Holland.
- 2008 - Global Relocation Solutions in Seoul, South Korea, becomes Paragon's first franchisee in Asia, forming Paragon Relocation - Korea.
