Joseph Morabito, SCRP, President and CEO
Joseph Morabito is president and chief executive officer of Paragon Global Resources, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
Mr. Morabito has more than 30 years of relocation industry experience. As a pioneer and innovator in the field, Mr. Morabito has worked with clients throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, touching virtually every industry with delivery of management consulting services. Prior to founding Paragon 18 years ago, Mr. Morabito held positions in senior management at Premier Relocation Services and Merrill Lynch Relocation Management (the predecessor to Prudential Relocation Management.) Mr. Morabito has been published in HR industry publications including Human Resource Executive and Mobility. He has been featured as a speaker at a variety of conferences and was written about in The Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Morabito holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science with a minor in foreign languages; a Master of Arts degree in education, with emphasis in personnel administration; and teaching and education administration credentials, all from California State University. He holds the Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) designation and is an ERC Distinguished Service award winner. He is an active member of the Employee Relocation Council's Public Policy Committee, which assesses and deals with business risk and opportunities arising from legislative, regulatory and judicial actions that impact relocation. jmorabito@paragongri.com
Mary Legate, CRP, Senior Vice President, Global Mobility & Diversified Services
Before joining Paragon in 1988, Mary Legate managed all aspects of client relations and operations at Merrill Lynch Relocation Management. Ms. Legate graduated with a BBA from Stephen F. Austin University in Texas and is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP). mlegate@paragongri.com
Joseph Benevides, SCRP, Senior Vice President, Global Relocation Services
Joseph Benevides is the senior vice president of global relocation services for Paragon Global Resources. Mr. Benevides' responsibilities include overseeing Paragon Relocation Resources' global relocation services and consulting services.
Mr. Benevides has more than 25 years of relocation industry experience having worked for Relocation Resources International (RRI), as its president and also previously as the company's COO, CFO and senior vice president. He also held other senior management positions in operations, client relations and sales for Weichert Relocation, Long and Foster and various mortgage companies.
Mr. Benevides is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is a recipient of the ERC Meritorious Service Award in 2001 and the ERC Distinguished Service Award in 2003. In addition, he is an SCRP and is currently the 2009 Chairman of the Board for Worldwide ERC®, having served as 2008 President. Craig Selders, SCRP, GMS, Senior Vice President, Global Business Development
Craig Selders is the senior vice president of global business initiatives at Paragon Global Resources. His responsibilities include overseeing the development of new Paragon subsidiaries and managing worldwide sales. Mr. Selders joins Paragon with more than 26 years of industry experience and is based in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Selders served as a vice president with Weichert Relocation and was responsible for business operations in the South and Southwestern United States. Prior to this, he served as a senior vice president of client services for Prudential Relocation where he was responsible for the company's North American client base. He also served as president of the western region of Prudential Relocation where he was responsible for all client and business operations for the Western United States.
Mr. Selders maintains an SCRP designation and has earned the Meritorious Service Award from the Employee Relocation Council (ERC) and has served on numerous committees and panels for ERC and other industry conferences. He has been published in various publications such as Mobility and Energy World and holds a Texas Real Estate Broker's license. Mr. Selders has a Bachelor's degree in business, with an emphasis in real estate from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Chicago. cselders@paragongri.com
Wolfgang Hombrecher, CRP, GMS, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Wolfgang Hombrecher is the senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Paragon Global Resources, Inc. His responsibilities include overseeing Paragon's corporate accounting, client accounting and finance departments.
Mr. Hombrecher served as an international business consultant with Del Monte Fresh Produce and was responsible for designing and implementing financial systems, preparing comprehensive business plans and leading financial and administrative efforts. Prior to this, he served as a vice president of finance and CFO for Calavo Growers, Inc. where he was responsible for converting the organization from an agricultural cooperative to a for-profit publicly traded corporation. He also served as senior manager of assurance and advisory services for Deloitte & Touche LLP where he directed and performed audits for public and private organizations with market capitalization of up to $20 billion.
Mr. Hombrecher is a Certified Public Accountant and has Bachelor's degrees in business economics and political science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is fluent in Spanish and German. whombrecher@paragongri.com
Liam Brennan, Managing Director, Paragon Relocation Holdings
Liam Brennan is Managing Director of Paragon Relocation Holdings based in Dublin, Ireland. His responsibilities include the development and management of the Paragon Franchise and Company Store Network. Mr. Brennan has wide experience in business development and general management, most recently as Managing Director for Galileo Ireland, formerly part of Cendant Corporation. Janelle Gerber, CRP, GMS, Vice President, Paragon Relocation - The Americas
Ms. Gerber joined Paragon in 1993. Her career spans over 30 years in relocation with emphasis on Operations and Account Management for global accounts. Other leadership experience includes responsibility for U.S. domestic inventory management and research and development for new business ventures.
Currently, Ms. Gerber serves as the Vice President, Paragon Relocation, The Americas responsible for providing home search, school search and settling-in services to expatriates and their families coming to The Americas on an international assignment.
In 2001, Ms. Gerber received the highest honor at Paragon - the President’s Award for significant contributions to onboarding new key accounts, training, coaching and managing staff of over 25 US domestic and international team members.Ms. Gerber studied at the University of Indiana, Bloomington and Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, IL completing accelerated course work towards a B.A. in Management. jgerber@paragongri.com
Tony Baldassarro, Managing Director, Paragon Relocation
Tony Baldassarro joined Paragon in 2001 as the managing director global relocation services for the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia/Pacific. Mr. Baldassarro is based in our London office and is responsible for Paragon's International Destination Service Centers around the world.
Mr. Baldassarro came to Paragon with extensive management background, strength in global expatriate services and a thorough understanding of the needs of human resource professionals, which further enhances the rapid growth of Paragon's global capabilities. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Thomas A. Edison State College and a degree in computer science from Montclair State University, New Jersey. Chris Furlotte, CRP, Vice President, Global Relocation Services
Mr. Furlotte joined Paragon in 1994. An industry veteran, Mr. Furlotte is responsible for Paragon's business development efforts in the Western U.S. and Gulf States. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Furlotte worked in Paragon's global consulting services division providing assistance in designing and implementing mobility policies and outsourced programs for dozens of multinational firms throughout the country.
Before joining Paragon, Mr. Furlotte was a group move consultant for PHH Homequity (a predecessor to Cendant Mobility) where he provided on-site group move relocation services. Mr. Furlotte has served on the board of the Western International Personnel Association, and is active in the BAPRM Mobility Conference Planning Committee. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in marketing, Mr. Furlotte has also completed extensive coursework in international business at the University of California, Irvine and is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP). cfurlotte@paragonrri.com
Glenn Chapman, CRP, Vice President, Global Relocation Services
Having joined Paragon in 1993 as a manager of business development, Mr. Chapman now oversees Paragon's global business development in the Midwestern and Eastern United States.
His prior experience includes working as a resale specialist for PHH Homequity and as a relocation coordinator for Merrill Lynch Realty in the relocation management division. Mr. Chapman also has experience as an associate relocation counselor and in residential real estate investments. Katherine A. Trachta, SCRP, GMS, Vice President, Paragon Decision Resources
Ms. Trachta joined Paragon in 2006 and has over 28 years in relocation including third party operations, in-house, corporate and on-site center management for Fortune 1000 companies. In addition, Ms. Trachta owned an independent global mobility consulting firm and has completed an expatriate assignment in Europe where she conducted a new business start-up.
As a veteran Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) and a Global Mobility Specialist (GMS), Ms. Trachta has served as an active member of committees for the Worldwide ERC and regional relocation networks. In addition, she has authored articles and editorials published in MOBILITY and National Relocation and Real Estate, has participated as an industry speaker and is a recipient of Worldwide ERC's Meritorious Service Award.
