Our giving and support is evidenced through volunteerism, support for the homeless, abused women, the elderly, children's well being and disaster relief efforts.
We continually contribute, through employee volunteerism and corporate philanthropy, to charitable organizations that share our values. Paragon matches funds raised through employee volunteerism in order to increase the impact of our employees' efforts. Last year our employees were involved with over 47 local charities. Safety
Paragon operates in a manner that promotes a safe workplace and protection of the environment. Our Corporate Services team attends annual Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) lectures. OSHA is the main United States federal agency charged with the enforcement of safety and health legislation. It is OSHA's mission to prevent injuries and protect America's workers by ensuring safe and healthful workplaces. OSHA classes and lectures attended by our Corporate Services team include Employee Safety Oversight and Workplace Ergonomics. Ultimately, the responsibility and accountability for effective injury prevention and pollution rest with each employee. Every department and each employee is required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and Company standards pertaining to workplace safety and environmental protection.
